The following is a recent email discussion with Adrian Saunders MP

Dear Adrian,

We understand that there is new information available regarding the future of tourism in the UK and we are wondering if there is any material you have available that we could bring to the attention of our members.

We are very sorry that you are unable to join us on the 29th January. If you could let us know when you are available we would be very happy to invite you to one of our General Meetings.

Could you send this very important information electronically in a form which we can present to our members or advise us if there is a website with the information readily to hand.

We look forward to hearing from you

 Kind regards

Gordon Oliver
Chairman
Torbay Hospitality Association

Hi Gordon

I have attached the only recent 'new' information about the future of tourism.  It's a public document so you can circulate to whoever you wish.  The other current event you may mean is the DCMS Select Committee enquiry into tourism, but nothing will be published until we have completed it, including a visit to Torbay to take evidence.  Go here for more info: http://www.parliament.uk/parliamentary_committees/culture__media_and_sport/cms070117.cfm

As you are probably aware I am in London Monday to Thursday (sometimes Friday) when the House is sitting, so my availability for a weekday meeting is normally limited to Fridays. Alison controls my diary and she can give you the recess dates or Fridays that are free. I hope we can arrage something.

Best wishes and well done on the Torquay/Cowes powerboats.

Adrian
